DOUGLAS FREELEY, MD

Douglas Freeley, MD is a native of New York and has been residing in Naples for over three years. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served on active duty for over 20 years. He and his family spent seven years working as medical missionaries in Ecuador.

He has continually been involved in teaching and has written numerous articles and books. Dr. Freeley has used the botulinum toxin (Botox) since 1981 when it was first used as a treatment for eye muscle disorders and is excited about offering his knowledge and experience to the Naples community.

Our Physician has over 30 years of experience using Botox. He is an Ophthalmic surgeon and they are the first Doctors to use Botox for medical treatment. Dr. Freeley has over 17 years post graduate education.

Dr. Douglas Freeley graduated from West Point, attended medical school at New York Medical College, did his ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and furthered his education with specialty training in strabismis and muscle surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
